Maribeth Sommer, RN, CNN, MBA - Vice President of Clinical Services

Currently Vice President of Clinical Services for both VillageHealth and DaVita, Maribeth is excited to be ramping up her involvement with VillageHealth.

Maribeth was a facility administrator with Total Renal Care, a DaVita predecessor company, so she is deeply familiar with the needs of kidney-care patients. Then at the corporate office she gained responsibility for creating and implementing programs to improve patient quality outcomes, such as training, education, project management and support for her group’s clinical services team.

Maribeth brings to VillageHealth a longstanding belief in the power of collaboration. At DaVita she forged working relationships with other departments including the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Quality Management, and Clinical Education — and with other companies and institutions wherever she saw an opportunity to improve patients’ lives.

Before becoming a dialysis facility administrator in 2001, Maribeth headed clinical education for Everest Healthcare Services.
